Better Safe Than Sorry

I have been working in a computer company since I was in college. I have handled the production department and after twelve years in service I have decided to resign, got my back pay and set up a business of my own. It was a decision made by my wife and me. When I was still in the company, I never get bothered with hospital bills if whenever I was confined. All the expenses are being taken cared of by the company’s health provider. But after resigning I was cut from the list and I was on my own.

I am a risk taker when it comes to business but I don’t take risk when it comes to my health. So I got a private health insurance to protect me and family against unplanned expenses. Nowadays one can never take chances when it comes to their health. The premiums being paid for the health insurance would commensurate to the expenses one will incur when one has to be hospitalized. It is always better be safe than sorry.
